Reiki 1 Training - A gift for life

Reiki 1 is the basic training for Reiki practitioners leading to a certificate. Trainees learn the hands-on healing method and are attuned into Reiki to activate their healing ability. Anyone can learn Reiki, even children!

Unlike most other therapies, Reiki can be used to treat oneself, making it a useful therapy to learn. Self-treatment is also a good way to practice and it’s very relaxing. Many people learn Reiki primarily for themselves, sometimes as a spiritual development tool.

The course lasts a day and a half (or three evenings). The pace is relaxed and no prior knowledge is expected. As well as the attunement, the course covers practical training in the healing methods. The course also covers the history and science of Reiki, chakras, grounding, the ‘Violet Flame’, the use of crystals and oils to complement Reiki, and the Reiki detox.

Reiki 2 Training

This is the advanced level for those Reiki practitioners who wish to progress further (which the majority of Reiki 1 practitioners do).

This is a one day course which includes meditations and a further attunement. Trainees are taught the Reiki symbols which are used to amplify the Reiki healing and which can be used to visualise Reiki to send healing to a far-away person, a place (to heal the energies therein), or to “heal” a past event.

Reiki 3 (“Masters”)Training

Reiki 3 is sub-divided into 3 and 3a. This is the level for those who wish to teach Reiki or to further their healing and spiritual development following a minimum period of a year’s experience after training for Reiki 2.
